Walking distance from Onrus beach and estuary (1,2km), Davies Pool (600m), and Jan Rabie Pool (1,3km) and the famous coastal path. Grocery shops, restaurants, and coffee shops are all nearby, excellent restaurant at Onrus Beach and in the village, the closest only 400m away. Onrus is a beautiful little town outside Hermanus with its unique shops, whale watching, and lovely walks along the coastal path. Situated 6km from Hermanus Village and close to the world's famous Hemel-en-Aarde valley, with award-winning wine estates and popular hiking trails. Lookout points with views of Walker Bay are reachable by a short mountain drive. Whale-watching season is from June to October.

Enjoy Saturday mornings at village markets. For art lovers there is a delightful art walk and wining/ dining experience on the first Friday evening of the month, and annual art festivals; Fynarts Festival at the beginning of June, and the Kalfiefees in August. Enjoy the Hermanus Music Society concerts on the last Friday of every month. Enjoy all facilities nearby, or use it as a base to explore the beautiful Overberg area.
